Ayaka Taylor

Ayaka Taylor is an emerging Las Vegas–based artist whose sound weaves together contemporary R&B, pop, and new age soul. Her music explores themes of duality, tenderness, and self-discovery, carried by a timeless voice that paints an intimate portrait of navigating life and girlhood. Influenced by Mariah Carey, Brandy, Cleo Sol, and Frank Ocean, Ayaka’s artistry was nurtured in choir rooms and theater stages—spaces where she learned to transform emotion into powerful expression.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Ayaka began her musical journey singing and dancing around the house before experimenting with songwriting and production on GarageBand. She honed her vocal skills through musical theatre and choir, developing a strong foundation in performance and storytelling. Over the years, she has crafted a distinct sound that captures the beauty and complexity of growing up, using rich, reflective storytelling to explore love that teaches, moments that bruise, and the quiet truths that shape identity.
With standout singles like “Love Don’t Come Easy” and “Game of Love,” Ayaka has established herself as a voice of sensitivity and depth in the contemporary music scene. She is currently developing her debut EP, a soulful mosaic that reflects both where she has been and the powerful evolution of who she is becoming.
