Jaydon Skinner

Jaydon Skinner

Jaydon Skinner is a Los Angeles–based artist crafting genre-blurring soundscapes that feel both futuristic and deeply human. Blending the emotional depth of R&B, the raw edge of alternative, and the melodic pull of soft-pop, his music sits at the intersection of vulnerability and vision—grounded in heart, soul, and purpose.

Drawing inspiration from artists like Frank Ocean, SZA, Choker, and Daniel Caesar, Jaydon approaches songwriting as a form of reflection—transforming personal experiences into cinematic sound worlds. His voice, smooth yet expressive, carries stories of love, loss, resilience, and becoming. His faith serves as both an anchor and a lens through which he processes life’s most complex transitions. Raised in a home where music and spirituality were deeply intertwined, his artistry reflects a sense of reverence for healing, honesty, and the unseen. His songs often dwell in quiet moments of stillness, self-discovery, and emotional reckoning, delivered through a contemporary, melodic palette.

His debut EP, Coming Out Swinging (Spring 2025), is a deeply personal chronicle of growth, grief, and grounding. Across eight tracks, he navigates the turbulence of early adulthood—confronting heartbreak, rediscovering hope, mourning loss, and wrestling with what it means to believe in something bigger than oneself. Rather than offer answers, the project sits in the questions—inviting listeners into an honest, soul-searching space where healing begins.
